TOKUSATSU!!!

Ahhhh.... yes, I said tokusatsu but I'm not going to talk about Kamen Rider or other "Masked" riders here. I just thought that talking about it would be interesting and fun. What I'm watching right now is the live-action adaptation of Fuma no Kojiro.

The story circles around Kojiro from the clan of the wind - FUMA who was asked to protect the Hukuo Gakuen from being errr... (bullied?) destroyed by the rival school being led by the Yasha ninjas. Soon the events turned ot to be an all out war and the Fuma have to call their other ninjas.
Its really awesome and to think that lots of Tenimyu guys are in the show (*^0^*) GAKU SHINDO!!! and the hero is the star in Kamen Rider.
Oh yeah, you could download Hardsubs http://doremiiscale.blogspot.com/search/?q=fuma&x=0&y=0
There are also torrent links there but aren't working because there are no seeders anymore.... Please seed 'em! I'll really appreciate it!

A Warning for the Adventurous Teenagers

I decided to tackle pre-marital sex instead of other “striking” topics such as Teenage Pregnancy, Abortion and Teenage Marriage because it is known that none of those would have ever occurred if the problem of having pre-marital sex was avoided. Thus, I could rationalize that pre-marital sex is a teenager’s instant ticket in ruining her life (Yes, you heard it right, I said “her” because I’ve known men who successfully broke themselves away from the misfortune leaving their girlfriend a teenage-single parent.) because Spiritually: it is a sin, Socially: it is an embarrassment and Romantically: a turn-off. Engaging in pre-marital sex also signals poor upbringing and a huge disgrace for the family.
It is known to man alone that mating with someone who is not your partner is a wrong doing and is only done by mere animals. Then, God made a law stating that whoever commits adultery (or by just barely looking at someone who’s not your husband/wife with lustful eyes) is subjected to judgment. Therefore, regardless of your age, having sex before marriage is basically committing a sin not only to your family but also to God, the Supreme Being.
Sex before marriage is also looked down by society. The preggers look will never be a trend, especially without an H-H-W-W-ing hubby. People will take you as a poor decision maker, hasty and unclean. Not only that the given impressions kill you but the exaggerating gossiping is worse. Neighbors would do anything to get the scoop and your family will be a laughingstock. Whatever the joys of falling in love you may have felt there, I’m telling you:  it’s not worth it.
Being more experienced than the guy in terms of sexual experience also handicaps you in finding your life partner. Guys always want to be your “first”. Though westernization through various media is to blame for those sexual promiscuous adolescent, the choice of keeping your virginity is still in your hands. Nowadays, saving your virginity to that one special guy who you would be spending all your life with is rather shameful but isn’t that supposed to be your badge of honor? As one of my closest friends told me “Your virginity is the only thing that you could proudly offer to your husband during your wedding night.” Avoiding early sex is also being considerate to your health and for the person you love.
I believe I’ve made my point clear and I hope that young girls like me would take a second look back on what to lose over a single unripe moment. Intimate moments such as this should be made with someone who you are bound with by God. And, of course, I don’t take ‘safe sex’ as an excusable answer. Sex is sex. You may get clean sex but the moralities that go with it are stained. What is the body to protect to when the heart itself is rotting?  I’ve read a lot of articles through the Internet that people are starting to disregard this sensitive matter, calling it a contemporary movement. Well, it is not. We got the liberty that we wanted and had expressed ourselves clearly but is sexual intercourse an another way to tell people that you’re in command of yourself when you’re pretty much giving in from nightly pleasures?  I've provided you the factors that would affect you on your downfall to sin, though you should have seen them coming - all that gossiping, disgrace from religion, romantic mishaps and humiliation. Who wants pre-marital sex, anyone?

Dreaming The Orgy Of Shopping (Book review 2)

Again another book review about the books I've read several times. I've got the book last Christmas and after lending the book, it never return. Anyway - The book is really juicy unless staring at shopping lists and credit card debts bore you. And what's weird was the ending - the part where I'm not going to tell anything. I'm writing the book review to help you and not HELP YOU WITH YOUR BOOK REPORTS AND SUMMARY. The heroine in the story is somewhat unreasonable though. All in all the book is about family, friends, work, love and dreams of winning the lottery.

The movie has big differences. The heroine never worked at Brandon C and there's no such thing as the lady in the green scarf (Hermes) and the garage sale never existed.

The book was a blast in the United States but in Asian countries, people doesn't seem to fit in. Why? Because the book is all about Oscar de la Renta, Prada, Burberry, Gucci, Versace and Vera Wang dreams. I found the book very appealing. Events are well described too, with accompanying brands and real places like Tiffany's. The story had a huge turn when everything had fallen for And-re-ah.

The movie was good but Anne Hathaway, with all her sponsors, never wore Prada.

I hate my ---- !

Every girl has her own insecurities that she will be holding all her life. When she grows up and she'll still hate how her hips flare dramatically (or whatever ugliness she has in her being) but of course, girlies, we'll get the hang of it --- but still hate it.

Okay, some people might notice this but... have you ever tried looking at the mirror first thing in the morning and your butt looks fab but at the end of the day its just flab?! Or so I think.

What makes women really angry?
1.) When's the due? --- yeah, you totally look preggers!
2.) Went to the beach? Oh, sorry, didn't thought that was natural! --- dark skin symbolizes poor lineage or something like that but hey, we're not racists!
3.) PIMPLE! --- okay, this is just infuriating ... pimples are not just buttons on your skin. Pimples are Ugly --- a sign of poor hygiene and what more it coincidentally visits you during your first date! but don't fuss, they're just there and maybe next year Mr. Pimple is back until you're 22.
4.) Being compared to a chestnut-head blonde --- now, this is serious. Being dumb/stupid isn't cute.
5.) Backstabbing B --- even if you really are, it hurts to slap it on your face.
6.) Legs that looks like Logs --- totally not hot. Every girl wants to flaunt runway legs.

What you read is what you get - talks about morbid, erotic and conservative love.

On cover: Jeffrey Dahmer
I bought the book during the semestral break and finished it 3 days after. I was hooked up with the stories - written with such art and keeping its horrific touch. Serial Killers has so much of a difference from Spree Murderers. Keeping their victims mutilated bodies and bones are always the one that finishes their orgy but still the person on the cover stood out atleast. Jeffrey Dahmer came to the time that he began eating his corpse. The first Serial Killer ever? of course, London's' Jack the Ripper.
I'm looking forward to read The World's Greatest Infamous Murderers, including the one mentioned on the latter book, too -- the ever-so-scary Moor Murderers.

Which one is better, the Novel itself or the Award-Nominated Motion Picture? Sorry, but the Novel won. Talking about originality, Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden captures the heart of all with the greatest touch of the orient. Japans culture was well described and the transition of history according to Sayuri's time is remarkable.

Well, the movie is nothing else than what you imagined in the book. The colors was wonderful and the viewing of Cherry blossoms is envious. Thanks to Zhang Ziyi (Sayuri played by a chinese actress), the movie still introduced a new shock of an innocent face. The movie stars Hollywood Actors and Actresses such as Ken Watanabe, Michelle Yeoh (a malaysian-chinese), Gong Li (Chinese) and Youki Koudo. There are some instances that are rather a far-cry from the Novel which is rather irritating and  scenes that are wished to be seen but never came out.

Since I've read the book seven times or more already, I guess I could make justice in making a book review about it. First, most people that I've talked to had a hard time reading the book. It wasn't really. It was written by Jane Austen an English author so no wonder you might adapt some foreign tongue. It was never long -- it only seemed longer because of the character's introductory dialogue. A given example: Mr. Darcy's way of saying I love you "for vain I have struggled, it will not be repressed.... and blah." Its early 19th century English Literature, so if you are not into Classics, I'm not recommending it to you. And yes --- there are no kissing scenes, bed scenes and the sort.

What's good -- it talks about 19th century society for middle class women of England. Going to balls, marrying at the age of 15, elopement, rumors and Michaelmas.

The movie has a lot of changes. Especially at the end that was kept hang before the casting roll. The book features the couple getting married while the movie only shows Mr. Bennet approving his daughter's marriage. Mr. Darcy's acting was said to be dull comparing to BBC's own sequel. Keira Knightley (Pirates of the Carribean) is just as a diamond as Elizabeth Bennet as described in the book. She effortlessly stands out from her four sisters. Pride and Prejudice has genre of Romantic Comedy, though I don't really think you'll get the comedy there.
